Pharmacy Technician
The Pharmacy Technician must have a broad knowledge of practice and be skilled in the techniques required to order, stock, and package and process medications in a pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician must be willing to take directions while working under the direction of a Pharmacist. Due to the critical nature of many common pharmacy duties, the Pharmacy Technician must enjoy performing precise work, where details can be a matter of health. Even if a task is repetitive, a Pharmacy Technician must be able to complete the task accurately every time. The technician must also be able to maintain this accuracy even in stressful or emergency situations. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for a Pharmacy Technician, who must interact with pharmacy co-workers, patients, and other health care professionals.
Experience and Education Required
o High School Diploma or GED required.
o Technician must hold valid and current CA Pharmacy Technician license.
o National certification (PTCB) preferred, but not required.
o Knowledge of USP 797

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
