Automotive Mechanical Claims Inspector - Part Time
Inspection Services of America has an immediate part-time opening for an automotive service contract claims inspector in San Luis Obispo, CA and the surrounding area.
The available position requires:
Good written and verbal communication skills,
General computer skills
Internet access
A digital camera.
Reliable transportation
Self starter and motivated
Each candidate has at least 5 plus years of hands on automotive mechanical experience, is ASE certified and or has equivalent factory certifications. Some motorcycle, RV or marine experience is very beneficial.
Our inspectors verify the need for repairs ONLY, and do not diagnose or perform any actual repairs. The position requires filling out a field inspection report form describing the extent of repairs needed and digitally photographing all of the failed components. A typical inspection takes an average of one hour to complete.
