Accounting Manager

Responsible for performing a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting including, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations and reporting. Duties include but are not limited to record verification, managing accounts payable; overseeing maintenance of files and general journal entries, accounts records and financial data analysis. Uses office-automated systems including an internal database, QuickBooks and analysis software to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Excellent organizational skills and time management in order to manage multiple tasks throughout the day
Telephonic customer service skills including the ability to make unsolicited calls (telephonic education to external clients), while maintaining good etiquette and providing accurate information
Excellent computer and office systems skills including all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and QuickBooks required and must be able to adapt quickly to learning new software
Must have demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem solving skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills as demonstrated by the ability to communicate with coworkers and managers

Experience and Education Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred; CPA preferred
5
years of professional experience with accounting functions
Minimum of 2 years management/supervisory experience
Healthcare experience preferred


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
