We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Processor to join our team.
As a Processor, you will be responsible for handling insurance processing from start to finish tasks related to insurance verification, following up on claims and coding.
This is a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient information.
Duties:
- Process insurance and ensure they are accurately maintained - Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations - Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations - Collaborate with healthcare provider to resolve any coding or billing discrepancies - Handle incoming calls and inquiries from patients, insurance companies Requirements:
- Previous experience working in an dental office setting is preferred - Familiarity with dental terminology and coding systems - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficient in using computer systems and software applications for data entry and record management - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Note:
