The individual will be responsible for providing indoor plant care at business locations throughout San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara counties.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants, excellent customer service skills and enjoy working independently in a variety of professional settings.
While experience in indoor plant work is preferred, we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
We provide flexible, part-time scheduling.
Candidate has the option to choose from the following:
- 15 daytime hours/week, or - 25 - 30 hours every-other week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as watering, pruning, fertilizing and cleaning plants at accounts.
- Monitor plant health by identifying signs of pests, disease or nutrient deficiencies.
- Replace plants as needed.
- Regularly communicate with owners.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address any concerns or special requests.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and plant replacements.
QUALIFICATIONS - A passion for plants and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.
- Attention to detail in work and communication.
- After training, ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete maintenance tasks.
REQUIREMENTS - Licensed driver, own car, clean DMV record.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet.
- Comfortable using a ladder on occasion.
COMPENSATION - Training rate:
$18 for preliminary training period of two weeks.
- After training:
$18 -$20/hour DOE.
- Consistent wage increases dependent on performance and advancement.
- Auto Insurance Stipend.
- Flexible time off.
