Hours of work is Mon-Fri and will sometimes require some early morning starts (6:
30 AM), some late evenings (6:
00 PM), but not all in the same day.
Registered Dental Assistant Qualifications and Duties This position assists our doctors chair side.
Intermediate computer skills are necessary to navigate the software, utilize e-mails with attachments, enter patient notes, prepare treatment plans, understand proper file storage, and troubleshoot errors.
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment.
Current, valid RDA license is required.
Registered Dental Assistant Skills Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control protocols Ability to take accurate vital signs and record patient information Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy guidelines Experience with dental software, such as Dexis and Eaglesoft Experience with paperless systems and Cerec restorations strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals About us We're listeners, not lecturers.
