Reception Host Duties:
- Clean and maintain public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other common spaces.
- Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of elevators and stairwells.
- Ensure public areas are well-stocked with supplies such as towels, soap, and toilet paper.
- Respond to guest requests for assistance or information in a friendly and professional manner.
- Hosting receptions for guests 2-4 days a week - Prepare food and drink tasting options - Maintain a joyous atmosphere and ensure the guests get a one of a kind experience - Clean any dishes used and restore the lounge to normal - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
Skills:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with custodial practices in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques is desirable.
