Our ideal candidate will have working knowledge of medical office procedures, medical terminology and at least 1 year experience in the medical field.
This is a full time position working from Monday to Thursday, with the occasional Friday.

Responsibilities Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area.
Maintain front desk and associated supplies Respond to patient/customer request Answer phones and respond to request from referral sources Input patient data to electronic medical system Monitor email inquiries and follow ups Checks patients in-and-out through the practice management system and verifies information.
Performs cashiering duties and collects co-payments, payments, and outstanding balances.
Assists patients with the completion of appropriate forms and reviews for accuracy and completeness.
Maintains inventory of paperwork and ensures most up to date form is being used.
Scheduling Appointments Answering Multi Line Telephones Maintains and adheres to HIPAA, employee confidentiality, and privileged communications (patient, employee, and corporation) Maintain business licenses and policies Other various duties as assigned by Physician and/or Management Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required Certificate in Medical Front Office procedures desired Understanding of general office machines - copiers, scanners, faxes Written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to apply sound judgment in understanding to carry out instructions in written or oral form Ability to make appropriate job decisions following standard office policies and past precedents Ability to multitask Spanish speaking (preferred, but not required) Administrative experience (preferred but not required) Human Resource experience (preferred but not required) Valid CA drivers license and reliable transportation Job Types:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
