Unit 7 - CSUEU - Clerical and Administrative Support Services, Administrative, Probationary, Full Time Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Director of Procurement Operations, the SBS Support Coordinator will support administration of the campus credit card program, provide strategic support to all SBS functions, oversee supplier outreach, assist with CSUBUY and other procure-to-pay programs, and provide administrative support to the department.
Department Summary Strategic Business Services (SBS) is responsible for managing approximately $200 million in annual University spend.
SBS consists of Risk Management, Public Records Act, Procurement, Payment, and Distribution Services.
SBS acts as stewards of the University's financial resources by maximizing the value of the University dollar by obtaining the most competitive pricing for goods and services and by limiting exposure to liability through risk mitigation devices.
Key Qualifications Ability to learn strategic procure-to-pay principles, practices, and procedures.
Demonstrate client service experience requiring a high level of diplomacy and professionalism.
Ability to initiate, establish, and foster communication and teamwork by maintaining a positive, cooperative, productive work atmosphere in and outside the University with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse population and with those from various cultural backgrounds.
Excellent communication skills; ability to effectively communicate information in a clear and understandable manner, both verbally and in writing.
Thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Ability to learn and perform routine procurement and contracting processes; develop, interpret, and apply accurate procurement specifications and the competitive bid process as required by the California State Statues and Codes.
Ability to anticipate problems and address them proactively, serving as the initial contact for campus customers Ability to learn and support the corporate payment card programs.
Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent.
Five years of general office support or technical experience.
Training at a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for two years of the required experience based on one year of college education for 6 months of experience.
Salary and Benefits Anticipated Hiring Range:
$$46,244 - $60,348 annually Classification Range:
