Director of Patient Care Services
San Luis Obispo, CA San Luis Obispo, CA Full-time Full-time $125,000 - $175,000 a year $125,000 - $175,000 a year 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago Under the direction of the Administrator, the Director of Patient Care Services has overall responsibility for coordination of patient care services and is responsible for any activities relevant to patient care services and is a qualified designee in the absence of the Administrator.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred but not required; and Is currently licensed by the state of California as a registered nurse; and Is experienced or trained in nursing services administration and/or Public Health/Home Health Nursing; and Has 3 years of RN expertise within the last five years for holders of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing; or if no Bachelor's Degree, has 4 years of RN expertise within the last five years; and Has at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory/administrative capacity in a community health setting; and Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to apply basic principles of nursing care and teaching; and Demonstrates leadership ability and capability to work effectively with all levels of personnel; and Maintains an interest and knowledge of current trends and new developments in nursing and health administration; and Demonstrates interest and ability to work effectively with the community; and Demonstrates knowledge of State nd Federal regulations pertinent to hospice and home healthcare including Medicare Conditions of Participation, Title 22, and accreditation standards.
