Responsibilities In keeping with the French Hospital Medical Center health care philosophy the Registered Nurse manages quality patient care through the nursing process.
Coordinates plan of care with the health care team.
Assumes leadership role for unit personnel to prepare and assist them with their responsibilities.
Employees are responsible for completion of unit competency assessments annual safety review CPR and renewal of license by maintaining continuing education units as required by hospital policy.
In addition to these major responsibilities the Registered Nurse may be assigned other duties.
RN@DH Qualifications Minimum
Qualifications:
Currently licensed by the State of California as a Registered Nurse.
Registered Nurse's without previous Emergency Department experience and new graduates will be considered on an individual basis provided they successfully complete the Emergency Department Orientation and Training program.
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS.
PALS Certification (may be obtained within 6 months of hire).
Ability to assess patients & deliver care according to specific needs of all age groups.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Previous Emergency Department experience preferred.
TNCC Certification, desired.
Pay Range $45.
42- $67.
78 /hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
