Job Summary The purpose of this position is to provide excellent customer service to students, parents, staff, campus officials, visiting guests, and the general public and serve as a primary point of contact for Campus Health & Wellbeing.
The incumbent must have the ability to present a professional and pleasant demeanor on a consistent basis.
This position is also responsible for general administrative support to Campus Health & Wellbeing, which requires a high degree of confidentiality.
Half of the time will be spent performing receptionist duties, the other half providing a broad range of administrative and clerical support duties.
Department Summary The purpose of Campus Health & Wellbeing is to help students achieve and maintain academic success and lifelong health and wellbeing by providing timely and appropriate primary and acute health care, disease, and injury prevention education, professional mental health, outreach, educational services, and campus consultations.
Key Qualifications Ability to use tact, diplomacy, and compassion to effectively handle a broad range of high-level and sensitive interpersonal situations with diverse personalities, and to respond appropriately to conflicts and problems.
Ability to independently handle multiple work priorities and projects.
Thorough knowledge of office methods, procedures, and practices.
Ability to learn, interpret independently, and apply a variety of complex policies and procedures.
Ability to identify deviations from applicable policies.
Ability to apply independent judgment, discretion, and initiative to address problems and develop practical, thorough, and, at times, creative solutions.
Education and Experience High school diploma or its equivalent.
Type 45 wpm.
Three years of general office support experience.
(Training at a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for two years of the required experience on the basis of one year of college education for 6 months of experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
